FASTANK have recently designed and manufactured an innovative new product ‘The Bio Security Bund’. The product has been developed in partnership with organisations who have a periodic requirement for Bio Security measures during an animal and plant disease outbreak. The Bund is specifically designed to disinfect vehicles, and can be used in 3 different ways:
As a shallow bath of disinfectant which vehicles can travel through.
As a contained area for spraying vehicles and wheels.
In conjunction with conventional disinfectant absorbent matts
The 6.5 x 4m Bund is the only Portable system ensuring full tread disinfection. The Bund allows disinfection with 100% containment, enabling recovery and reuse of disinfectant. The Bund ensures no secondary pollution or harm to the environment or adjacent water courses from disinfectant. The FASTANK® Bio Security Bund can be manufactured to bespoke dimensions for various wheel diameters.
