The stretcher is made with vinyl coated high tenacity orange fabric and heavy duty mesh using High frequency welding with no stitching. The mesh allows water to drain away from the casualty as they are being recovered, which aids manual handling and speed of recovery. The stretcher can also be used as a twin to recover casualties and bodies in offshore conditions. Two stretchers are joined together with buckles to roll casualties into small recuse vessels.
