Emergency clay drain plugging mats are manufactured to instantly seal a drain and prevent spilt oils and chemicals from flowing into storm drains and out to controlled waters.
These drain plugging mats fit the contours of drains to create a complete seal on uneven or broken surfaces. Due to their flexibility, they can easily plug misshapen drains.
Dammit clay drain mats are treated with a formula that prevents mould growth and provides anti-freeze properties, keeping the mat flexible down to -20°C.
Dammit mats should be placed in areas of high risk.
How to use:
Dammit clay drain mats are easy to use and quick to deploy:
- Step 1: Remove mat from the protective bag
- Step 2: Peel off plastic sheet from underside
- Step 3: Place mat on drain sticky side down
- Step 4: Tread on mat to ensure complete contact with drain
