Maintaining storm drains and preventing oil sheens and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) from leaving the facility shouldn’t be frustrating, time-consuming or messy. For storm drains near the edges of paved areas that don’t see much traffic, HuskyGuard® Above-Drain Stormwater Filters capture oil sheens; trap dirt, sand and silt; and prevent trash and debris from entering storm grates.

No Special Tools Required: HuskyGuard® Stormwater Filter Maintenance

After a storm event or during regularly scheduled housekeeping, just sweep up any accumulated dirt, debris or trash around the drain. Because the storm grate remains in place and oil and debris are prevented from entering, cleaning up the area around the drain can be completed in less than five minutes without the need to remove the grate. When the  HuskyGuard® Above-Drain Filter has reached its oil absorption capacity, you can replace it with a fresh one in less than five minutes with no special tools.
