Internship: Environment & CSR Engagement Internship

Location: Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Duration: Based on University’s duration

Join us for a meaningful internship that blends environmental education, wildlife awareness, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). This programme is designed to help students build empathy, leadership, and professional readiness while contributing to impactful sustainability initiatives.

This internship provides a holistic learning experience that combines environmental education, wildlife awareness, community engagement, and professional workplace readiness. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, learn to connect with nature and animals to build compassion and empathy, and develop essential workplace ethics and professional conduct skills.

The programme prepares students not only as environmental advocates but also as future professionals ready for organizational challenges.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing diploma or degree in any environment related fields, or wildlife, Environment Education, Environmental Science, Biodiversity & Conservation, Sustainability, Climate Change or related fields.
• Passion for conservation, wildlife, and community engagement.
• Good research, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to participate in CSR, office-based tasks and other activities aligned with company core business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Environmental & Wildlife Education
   • Participate in case studies on current environmental and wildlife issues.
   • Develop and deliver engaging presentations and awareness materials for students and community groups.
   • Assist in planning and facilitating environmental education activities (climate change, plastic pollution, carbon emission, wildlife & biodiversity, etc).
2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Support
   • Assist in leading, organizing, and coordinating the company’s CSR events.
   • Engage with community partners, schools, and stakeholders in CSR initiatives.
   • Create reports, proposals, or awareness materials documenting CSR activities.
3. Personal Growth & Empathy Building
   • Participate in activities that foster connection with nature and compassion toward animals.
   • Promote awareness of environmental stewardship and humane values in all outreach activities.
4. Professional & Workplace Preparedness
   • Training provided on workplace ethics, intellectual property rights, industrial norms, handling sexual harassment, professional conduct and getting your profile ready for job.
   • Assist core business teams to understand organizational processes and practices.
5. Core Business Exposure
   • Gain insights into the organization’s main business activities related to environmental engineering and sustainability solutions.
   • Support day-to-day operational tasks where required to understand practical applications of environmental solutions.
   • Training provided on the latest technology and solutions on Environment issues

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the internship, interns will:

• Gain a strong understanding of current environmental and wildlife conservation issues.
• Develop leadership and organizational skills through hands-on CSR event management.
• Build empathy, compassion, and communication skills in engaging with nature, animals, and communities.
• Understand workplace ethics, professional conduct, and organizational norms.
• Be better prepared for professional job placement with practical experience and awareness.
