An Integrated Boom and Skimming System

The RO-SKIM is designed to be positioned at the optimum location for oil recovery.
It is a special section of the RO-BOOM, fitted with a weir and either a DESMI DOP 250 or DOP 160 pump.

This system is available in five sizes to match the RO-BOOM 1000, 1300, 1500, 1800, and 2000. The weir is strategically placed to collect oil accumulating against the boom’s face.

One or two units can be coupled together in a long boom assembly, providing a high recovery rate.
The system is particularly effective for open-sea sweeping operations.
